       Hi, I’m interested in a Data Entry position. I have a lot of experience in the data entry field as well as secretarial and clerical. My office experience spans several different types of industries such as Engineering, Scientific, Health (start-up companies – hearing aids), Department of Defense, Manufacturing (explosives, electronics, health products, newspapers) , Aviation, Distribution, Staffing and Construction.  

I’m very professional in my manner and have a strong work ethic.  I enjoy working.


I have been home for the past 5 years taking care of my disabled husband and my 81 yr. old mother.  The level of office work and customer interaction in regards to their daily lives and ongoing care, has proven to be just as challenging as any office position I have held in the past. My daily schedule is now open and I’m ready to devote my attentions to helping your company accomplish its goals.

                              Occupational Medicine Department – Be Program Assistant

                              Duties included covering computer based training and respirator fit testing in case of early am appointments (my old positions). Checked and processed Be card request and delivered to Corporate Training.  Maintained tracking log (data entry) of chest x-rays and lab work performed on site. Pulled charts, made copies and delivered to Medical Director. Enclosed Be Packet Information and mailed letters to patients. Scheduled sensitized employees for travel to Pennsylvania for further chest  x-rays and testing.


                              Occupational Medicine Department – Respirator Fit Test Technician

                              Daily duties included fit testing employees. Maintain and clean equipment used in the fit chamber. Arrange for and follow up the equipment pickup and delivery. Additional duties, check fire extinguishers throughout the medical building to insure emergency readiness. Assist Medical Records with sorting and grouping large amounts of charts and filing. Collaborated on other projects as assigned from all departments within Occupational Medicine.


Kaiser Hill Document Retention Program – Office Clerk 

Scanned and typed associated documents for shipping. Shipping and Receiving and arranged for pickup, data entry and office backup.



                              National Accounts – ISIS Customer Maintenance Processing Team - Small team processed daily maintenance received via fax and e-mail from 36 divisions, covering over 300 National Accounts. Calls made to regional offices to obtain missing information and calls to the help desk to log trouble tickets and provide resolution for the customers. Responsible for sending Declined Credit Card Report twice daily to all 36 divisions.


                              DECIBLE INSTRUMENTS, INC.,  CALIFORNIA  (Hearing Aid Mgf.)   3/95 to 4/96

                              Office Coordinator – Daily functions were to process the mail, post A/R. Collaborated with CEO to keep investor logs, deposit investor funds and send out acknowledgements. Process Fed-x shipments and answer phones, code invoices, data entry, process expenses, employee reimbursements and petty cash. Process bi-weekly payroll. Maintained facilities related issues, contacted vendors to negotiate and setup new accounts i.e., lines for credit, janitorial services, etc. .  Kept track of the company’s daily cash flow balance and processed A/P at the end of the month (worked with the CFO).


                              U.S. GEOLOGICAL SURVEY ,  CALIFORNIA  8/95 to 9/95 Summer PT

                              Department Secretary, Earthquake & Volcano Division – Provide support for department leaders. Answer phones, process mail and fed-X shipments. Type rough draft abstracts for publishing, correspondence, e-mail department memos, process timesheets (very involved) and special projects as assigned.


                              RESOUND CORPORATION,   CALIFORNIA7/90 to 3/95

                              Administrative Assistant – Professional Training Department

                              Hearing Aid Mfg. and Distribution. Responsible for setting up domestic training seminars (up to 25 a month all over the U.S. and Canada). Generate hearing aid dispenser update letters daily. Assemble and ship handouts, equipment and promotional materials to each seminar location. Direct contact with hotels to setup catering and negotiate room rates.  Collaborated closely with Director of Training and provided backup to the assistant Admin. under the Director of Marketing. One of 4 who were responsible for proofing company marketing materials.


                              Marketing Assistant – Maintained all marketing materials. Coordinated shipments, maintained customer files and processed mailings (Word/Excel Merge Functions). Assisted Training Manager with catering and convention arrangements. Key operator for company equipment and Reception coverage. 

                              Junior Purchasing Agent -  Assisted in setting up new procedures for hazardous materials storage/disposal. Compiled data for material cost and overage reports. Placed orders for materials and office supplies. 

                              Engineering Secretary – Typing, maintained consultant files, data entry, schedule travel for Management and Engineering Staff. Secretarial support to Clinical Regulatory Research and Reception.
