EQUIPMENT SPECIALIST

THIS IS A T32 EXCEPTED SERVICE, PERMANENT POSITION. The primary purpose of the EQUIPMENT SPECIALIST, GS-1670-9, is to provide instruction and assistance to state unit personnel regarding Army National Guard (ARNG) equipment and maintenance management. Knowledge of the principles, concepts, and methods of equipment maintenance and management of a variety of ARNG equipment is required. May make additional selections within 90 days of eligible(s) issuance. General
Experience:
Experience, education, or training which has provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more classes of equipment; Experience must include knowledge of standard shop terminology; Basic knowledge of mechanical principles relating to equipment; Experience must demonstrate the ability to read and interpret blue prints and technical publications; Knowledge is of the type gained from technical training, education, and experience in functions such as repairing, overhauling, maintaining, constructing, or inspecting equipment; Experience using computer and automation systems. EQUIPMENT SPECIALIST, GS-1670-9:
Must have at least 24 months experience which provided knowledge and skill in applying principles, concepts, and methods of equipment design; Experience in the use of tools and test equipment; Experience developing, installing, inspecting or revising equipment maintenance programs and techniques. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
