Summary:
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Youth Development Professionals who are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of young people.
In this role, you will support youth in achieving academic success, facilitate fun and engaging enrichment programs, create interactive health and wellness activities, and supervise and manage youth behavior for members between the grades of 1st-12th.
Key
Responsibilities:
Provide daily tutoring and homework assistance to help youth achieve academic success.
Facilitate a variety of enrichment programs that are both fun and educational.
Develop and implement interactive health and wellness activities.
Supervise youth to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
Manage youth behavior with positive reinforcement and appropriate interventions.
Collaborate with other staff to create a cohesive and effective team.
Engage with parents and community members to support youth development.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:
Monday-Friday availability during the afterschool time is highly recommended for consideration.
Passion for working with children and teens.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage and engage a group of young people effectively.
Commitment to the mission and values of Boys & Girls Clubs.
Experience in education, youth development, or a related field is preferred.
Proof of 48 college units or pass the NCLB high school equivalency test upon hire.
