As an Information Security Engineer Intern you may:
Deploy and/or configure proprietary and commercial software products support cryptography, production host security, authentication, authorization, MFA other security verticalsAssess security risks and impact of issues impacting ServiceNow and designing and implementing solutions designed to address shortcomingsWork with stakeholders to provide triage and remediation recommendations.QualificationsCurrently enrolled in an accredited university as a full-time student pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree, in Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalentGraduating December 2024, or laterAbility to obtain work authorization andcommit to a 12-week internship in summer 2024 (May-August, or June-September)Fundamental understanding of one or more of the following:
operating systems, software development, cybersecurity, systems engineering, or network engineeringProficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java/Python/Shell/C/etc.Linux or Unix experienceUnderstanding of computing, operation, functionUnderstanding of network communications OSIFamiliarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCPFamiliarity with security vulnerabilities and risk assessment. (MITRE/AT&CK)Personal or academic projects focused in the security domainAn analytical mind for problem solving, abstract thought, and offensive security tactics.Strong interpersonal skills (written and oral communication). The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
