Summary:
Responsible for the inspection of components, subassemblies, and finished products.
Able to determine the proper sampling plans based on Component Specifications, Inspection Plans or Customer supplied requirements.
Must be able to work independently with minimal guidance.
Essential Functions:
Assist quality and engineering in investigations of process related quality issues; Write non-conforming materials reports when required and be familiar with the process of quarantining products that have been rejected by QA; Conduct internal department audits; Provide samples and communication to QA and Production Management concerning quality issues when required; Understanding and knowledge of the use of basic inspection tools; Other duties as assigned and requested in support of the position and Aero Turbine's needs; Communicate effectively to team members; Detail oriented, able to stay on task, and self-motivated; Be compliant with safety procedures and policies Education/
Experience:
High school diploma or GED; Certification in precision inspection and other related discipline's helpful; 1-2 years of related experience; Manage time efficiently; have good planning and organizational skills; be able to apply good decision-making skills; read/write English; basic mathematical skills; basic computer skills.
