Flooring Installer
Qualifications:
Experienced with a wide range of flooring materials for commercial and residential applications, including wood, vinyl, linoleum, LVP, carpet tile, VCT, and carpet.
Ability to evaluate job sites to identify potential problems and give recommendations.
In-depth understanding of flooring materials and installation methods Capable of levelling subfloors, scrape, and other surfaces in preparation for installation.
Ability to install flooring materials using hand and power tools in accordance with job specifications.
Inspects finished work to verify quality and the highest possible standards of work Prior experience as a flooring installer or completion of a suitable apprenticeship is strongly preferred Has good physical stamina and capacity to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Have the ability to travel with reliable transportation for projects throughout the Bay Area and the Valley Those who want to be apprentices must have some prior experience.
Depending on experience, accuracy, and speed, pay ranges from $18 to $50 per hour (plus benefits).
