Must be able to help resolve any billing issues.
Will also help with other administrative duties.
Essential Job Duties Read computer files or gathers records such as hand tags, bill of ladings, weight tickets, and sanitation confirmations, to compile needed data.
Enters data into our billing system.
Prepares invoices, amounts due, time and dates of shipment.
Posts transactions to our billing program.
Stays up to date with rate changes.
Communicates via email to accounting of any billing issues with customer.
Respond to customer/office emails in a timely manner.
Communicates with local drivers about missing information or delivery records.
Answer calls and relay messages.
Close any open loads.
Help all departments with administrative duties.

Scope of Responsibility This job will have periodic access to confidential data.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
Education and Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Physical Demands The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
