Part-Time Manager for Premier Wine Tastings and Exquisite Private Events In line with this renewed vision, The Wine Shop is delighted to offer a variety of weekly events that aim to enrich the wine tasting journey for our distinguished clientele:
- Open House Wine Tasting:
Every Thursday, we host a specially curated wine tasting event for guests who have secured reservations in advance.
- Gourmet Wine and Food Pairing:
On Fridays, we elevate the wine tasting experience with a sophisticated event that pairs fine wines with exquisite culinary offerings, available exclusively to customers with prior reservations.
- Private Events:
Additionally, the shop is available for exclusive private bookings on other evenings, providing an elegant backdrop for personalized celebrations.
Job Opportunity:
Part-Time Manager for Thursdays, Fridays, and Private Events
Qualifications:
- Proficient in the use of computer technologies, including Point of Sale (POS) systems, email marketing initiatives, website management, and social media platforms.
- Experience in retail sales or a background in customer service excellence.
- Highly organized, efficient, and capable of multitasking.
- A foundation in wine sales or an in-depth understanding of wines is highly desirable.
Principal Duties:
- Collaborate with and support the food service team to ensure seamless preparation and execution of events.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the shop before and after events.
- Coordinate and oversee the successful conduct of events on Thursdays, Fridays, and during private bookings.
- Facilitate event setup, including the arrangement of furniture, glassware, and other necessities.
- Liaise with wine distributors for the timely delivery and dispatch of wines to customers.
- Manage wine inventory, including stock replenishment and POS system updates.
- Engage in wine sales activities as required.
- Adhere to state regulations concerning the recycling of wine bottles and fulfill other recycling obligations.
- Procure essential supplies for the ongoing upkeep of the facility, event management, or for general purposes.
