Responsibilities:
Essential Duties:
Oversees the production process and schedule for a custom fabrication and production line manufacturing company.
Review processing schedules and production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, and duty assignments.
May approve some expenditure for shop supplies and materials Perform other work related duties as assigned and be flexible and adaptable to changes that will occur during the course of employment.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of industrial hose, conveyor belting, and splicing industry preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of shop management experience in a fabrication environment required, 5 years' experience preferred.
Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.
Ability to accurately develop and update production tools, including contingency plans for unexpected problems.
Possess outstanding leadership qualities, a never quit attitude, and desire to be part of an integrated team.
Ability to develop a level of trust with the employees and motivate them to perform at their best and enjoy coming to work every day.
Must be able to successfully function in a fast paced, high volume environment Knowledge of industrial hose industry preferred.
