LAUNDRY OPERATIONS MANAGER Job - (manteca, california)


Job Description:

In this position you will oversee the daily operations of a large industrial laundry facility in the processing and delivery of healthcare linens.
You will also manage the development and training of the staff in efficiently producing a high quality product.
Responsibilities:
Fiscal management of the costs and expenses in the operation of the plant.
Oversee contract and labor costs.
Handles all human resource issues such as training, regulatory compliance staffing, payroll and benefit administration for the entire staff.
Assists in the production of weekly reporting for Weekly Operating Report, Key Indicators, Payroll and Human Resource Functions.
Able to read and interpret a P and L statement.
Oversee regulatory compliance of the plant.
Assists with Joint Commission, Linen Review, and operating Committees within the facility and hospital group.
Qualifications:
BS/BA in Management or equivalent work experience required.
At least 5 years of operations/management experience :
preferably laundry operations with large:
scale plants in management or commercial field preferred.
Spanish language skills a plus.
Knowledge of production methods and monitoring.
Knowledge of laundry equipment and basic washroom chemistry.
Ability to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentations.
Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
