Maintenance & Engineering Manager

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES are not limited to the following:
Maintenance / Reliability management using CMMS for preventative maintenance, PM and predictive maintenance program, planning, scheduling, parts and work order system management Lead and develop associates, supervisors, and work teams through training and coaching Ensure training for newly implemented methods, equipment and systems to continuously improve technical skill level Manage capital, labor, parts, contracted services and expense budgets Execute projects to include funding (AFEs), defining scope, conducting cost analysis and justification, and project management Develop skills of engineering/ maintenance staff and perform annual performance evaluations Ensure that the equipment is capable of making product to specification at a rate to achieve production schedule, targeted efficiencies and operate at design specifications Support daily operational troubleshooting and problem solving Support and lead environmental and energy conservation program Implement and share best practices Ensure a safe working environment for team associates A high growth foods manufacturing company is seeking someone with a strong background in Engineering and preventative Maintenance to join our team.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE /
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering field Ability to work flexible hours / shifts to manage and support 3 shift operation Preferred
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering field Experience with CMMS systems, and asset reliability management Experience leading and engineering and maintenance staff Experience with high speed packaging technology, operations and maintenance Has potential to grow into an engineering director level role within 3 - 5 years 3 - 7 years experience in leading and developing a team of industrial mechanics, engineering and maintenance supervisors, and or technical team, preferred 3 - 7 years in asset reliability maintenance or engineering preferred, but not required 5
years of demonstrated experience with industrial electrical systems, including PLCs (ability to program and troubleshoot), HMIs and OITs and related networks, preferred Hands on experience with motor starters, DFDs, soft starters, servo motors and controllers, preferred Experience in an continuous process improvement manufacturing environment a plus Has demonstrated ability to implement and maintain manufacturing process improvements and controls, preferred Knowledge of OEE, preferred Familiar with Microsoft Office applications Green Belt and or Black Belt certification a plus, but not required Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry and food manufacturing experience a plus Click here to apply.
